Local attractions

We are ideally situated for walking and cycling. Close to the "Dalesway" and the "White Rose Classic" cycle route.

Addingham village is a 5 minute drive away or 2 mile walk across the fields. Here there are a number of pubs, a tea room and several local shops.

A pleasant half mile stroll along the lane and you can visit the Elm gallery for original artwork, prints and other gifts and cards all by local artists Liz Clarke and Dave Marsh.

Other local attractions within a 15 minute drive include Bolton Abbey and Strid Wood, Skipton Castle, Ilkley's Cow and Calf rocks and some lovely shops and restaurants. For the rail enthusiast there are Steam railways from Bolton Abbey to Embsay and the Worth Valley Railway from Keighley to Haworth in the centre of Bronte Country.

Activities

We can arrange a round of golf for you at Bracken Ghyll Golf Club in Addingham. Ask us about our mid-week golf offers.

We can book a day's fishing for you either on the river Wharfe at Bolton Abbey or on a reservoir in the Washburn Valley. Tuition can be organised by prior arrangement.
